That’s really where this begins — Isaiah 61. God showed me something so powerful in that passage. When Isaiah says “they shall build the old wastes and raise up the former desolations,” the “they” represents the Church — the Body of Christ, restored and re-empowered for this end-time move of God.
We are stepping into the season where Every Need Met isn’t just a message, it’s a mandate. It’s God’s end-time plan for His Church — to meet every need within His body, so that His body can meet the needs of society. That’s how He gets the glory.
Through the anointing, God is beautifying His Church. He’s restoring her honor, her influence, and her provision. He’s also releasing what Isaiah 61 calls “the day of vengeance of our God” — not vengeance as punishment, but God’s justice system in motion.
As Dr. Bill Winston powerfully teaches, the vengeance of the Lord wasn’t part of Jesus’ earthly ministry — it became the ministry of the Holy Spirit after Pentecost. Through that same Spirit living in us today, we’ve entered the part Jesus left for us:
“…the day of vengeance of our God; to comfort all that mourn… you shall eat the riches of the Gentiles, and in their glory shall you boast yourselves.”
That’s not poetic language — that’s divine positioning. God is restoring His Church to her rightful place: strong, resourced, radiant, and ready to demonstrate His glory. Through His justice and recompense, the Church will once again be recognized as the mightiest and most influential institution on the earth.
